SouthPoint Church (Leonardtown, MD) exists to connect the disconnected to Christ, community, and a cause. Their church building campaign theme: "Launching A Legacy" aimed to inspire gifting for a full campus construction project. Currently, their ministry is a multi-site, pop-up church. They had a rough design idea of using a rocket launch and infographic styled aesthetics across all of their church building campaign materials. Therefore, we felt that vibrant imagery, iconography, typography, and captivating charts would be fitting.
To effectively communicate their 3-year journey, we designed their campaign theme logo to be a geometric rocket styled emblem. This type of event logo layout balanced well with their existing "SP" horizontal combination mark. Since this was a multi-deliverable church building campaign, all supporting aesthetics need to be crafted with optimal foresight. Any content boxes, bullet points, or background patterns needed to share familiar point-angled details as their "SP" logo and the new rocket campaign theme logo. Sustaining the design's continuity, we also implemented bold typography sets and banner labeling to give this flat design style more pop.
